Live Deck
Pads and notes play live and land in any squad that is recording. Keys snap to the mode, so every note fits.
Drum pads
Loop Squads
Each squad records 4 bars, starting on the next bar line. Hit Overdub on a playing squad to stack another layer on top. Press Rec while stopped and you get a one-bar count-in.
Wingman
Listens to your first 4 bars, works out the chords under your phrase, then joins on bar 5 with a bass line locked to the kick, sustained pads, and a counter sax that answers your phrase a third above. Re-learns every 4 bars you play.
Mixer
Keyboard: A–K and Q–I play the 16 note keys, 1–8 fire the drum pads, Space starts and stops. A plugged-in MIDI keyboard plays notes; channel 10 plays drums; the mod wheel drives Growl.
