National Invest In Veterans Week is a federally recognized commemorative week dedicated to encouraging the public, legislators, and business leaders to invest in the sustainability of veteran-owned businesses and the overall well-being of the veteran community.

History & Founders
Founded in 2019 by Drayton Florence, NFL veteran, and Jeff Shuford, Iraq War veteran and nationally syndicated columnist. The initiative was built to reframe the conversation from hiring veterans to investing in them as entrepreneurs and leaders.

The Registrar at National Day Calendar® officially proclaimed the observance in July 2019, setting it to be observed annually from March 1–7. Since then, it has gained bipartisan support nationwide and has been celebrated by chambers of commerce, legislators, and veteran service organizations.
